The Stomach
When digestion is weak, fewer nutrients will be absorbed. Enzyme production will suffer so digestion ability worsens in a vicious cycle. This applies particularly to the digestion of protein, which is the main raw material of all digestives enzymes and hormones.
The main role of gastric juices in the stomach:
Many of these process depend on the high acidity if gastric juice, in the form of hydrochloric acid (HCl). Acid is needed to stimulate the production of bicarbonate by the live and pancreas. In turn bicarbonate makes the gut contents more alkaline, and this act as a trigger for the release of digestive enzymes.

The main role of gastric juices in the stomach:
- Destroy bacteria and other micro-organisms found in food
- Separate vitamin B12 from food and combine it with intrinsic factor
- Release minerals from food
- Prepare protein for digestion by pancreatic enzymes
- Stimulate the rest of the digestive process, especially bicarbonate and pancreatic enzyme production

Leaky Gut Syndrome
If the small intestine becomes more permeable than it is supposed to be (leaky), it allows abnormally large food molecules to enter the bloodstream. These incompletely digested molecules may stimulate allergic / immune responses both in the intestinal wall and elsewhere in the body.
When the small intestine suffers impaired permeably, it both absorbs what it should not and does not absorb what it should. A leaky gut allows not only oversize protein molecules to enter the bloodstream but also bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. When this happens the body reacts with alarm.
Symptoms of a leaky gut include:
A leaky gut may be caused by a gluten intolerance, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), alcohol, intestinal parasites, food sensitivities, or candidiasis.
Foods to Avoid
In order to heal the leaky gut it is necessary to eliminate ALL of the following:

Symptoms of a leaky gut include:
- Constipation and/or diarrhea
- Abdominal pain or bloating
- Indigestion or flatulence
- Mucus of blood in stools
- Chronic joint or muscle pains
- Frequent fatigue, tiredness
- Fuzzy thinking
- Confusion, poor memory
- Mood swings
- Poor exercise tolerance

Biological Effects of EMFs
Before I list the many effects of EMF, a definition of EMF is first needed. The simple definition is EMF stands for Electromagnetic Fields - forces generated by the flow of electricity. With the harnessing if electrical energy and its incorporation into every aspect of out daily lives this force has become a significant threat to our lives.
Electromagnetic energy surrounds and penetrate our homes, our work environment, and every place in-between. It has been accused of causing a list of effects ranging from cancer to suicide.
From a report by the American Medical Association on EMFs, in laboratory tests of EMFs, using both whole animals and cell culture data, changes were present in the following measured parameters"

Classification of Herbs
All herbs belong to one or more classifications or group. There are 11 groups that will be listed.
Alternative Group
These herbs clear the body of toxins, They tend to correct conditions, They are used to change existing nutritive and excretory processes to regulate body functions.
Examples: Red Clover, Nettles, Golden Seal root and leaves, Burdock root, and Yellow dock root.
Astringent Group
An herb that draws together or constricts body tissues, and is effective in stopping the flow of blood or other secretions.
Examples: Witch hazel, Red Raspberry leaves, White Ash bark, and White Oak bark.
Demulcent Group
These herbs coat and soothe irritated mucous membranes. They are used in the common cold and coughs syrups.
Examples: Marshmallow root, Slippery Elm, Mullein leaves, and Plantain leaves.
Diaphoretic Group
These herbs cause perspiration but are not as visible or intensely felt as the Sudorific herbs.
Examples: Blessed thistle, Hyssop, Pleurisy root, Sage leaves, Yarrow, and Chamomile.
Sudorific Group
These promote heavy perspiration by stimulating the sudorific glands.
Examples: Boneset, Bayberry Bark, Yarrow stems and leaves, and Sage leaves
Diuretic Group
An herb that increases the flow of urine.
Examples: Horsetail, Chickweed, Juniper berries, Fennel seed and Comfrey root
Expectorant Group
These are herbs that aid to decrease and expel excessive accumulations of mucous in common colds, coughs, throat, and bronchi irritations.
Examples: Wild Cherry bark, Pleurisy root, Nettle leaves, White Pine barks, and Pine buds.
Laxatives
These herbs stimulate secretions of intestinal glands, and excite a moderate peristalsis, creating a mild evacuation of stool while softening them.
Examples: Senna leaves, and Cascara Sagrada for some.
Anthelmintic Group
An herb that destroys and/or expels parasites from the body.
Examples: Wormwood seed, Peach leaves, Black Walnut leaves, Pumpkin seeds, and garlic.
Nervines
Herbs that acts as a tonic to the nerves.
Examples: Valerian root, Chamomile, Catnip, and Vervain.
Tonic Group
An herb that invigorates and stimulates tone and energy to the body.
Examples: Raspberry leaves, Strawberry leaves, Nettles, Ginseng, and Saw Palmetto leaves

Jet Lag - Water Therapy
Drink 1 glass of water for each hour in the air. This prevents dehydration and helps overcome the trauma of jet lag. Do not drink alcoholic drinks while flying; they have twice the impact at air level that they do on the ground. Also avoid caffeine and sodas containing caffeine, which dehydrate the body.
Before the plane lands, splash your face with cold water and brush your teeth. This energizes and revives the entire systems, If you are tired, fill the sink with cold water and plunge your hands into the water for a minute or so.
